With the move towards an Australian curriculum there have been a number of national authorities developed to guide and inform the adoption of the Australian Curriculum.
Australia Curriculum and Reporting Authority (ACARA)
The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) is overseeing the development of an Australian Curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 12, beginning with English, mathematics, science and history.The draft K–10 Australian Curriculum for English, mathematics, science and history is available for consultation from March to May 2010.

- More information for parents and the community about school performance.
